ENBREL MYCLIC (Etanercept)-50mg
ENBREL MYCLIC (etanercept), a biologic medicine, is a tumor necrosis factor (TNF) blocker. It works by decreasing TNF, a protein produced by the immune system to helps the body fight infections. In people with autoimmune disorders, the immune system produces too much TNF and mistakenly attacks healthy cells.
It is used to treat 5 inflammatory conditions:
- Moderate to Severe Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA),
- Moderate to Severe Plaque Psoriasis,
- Psoriatic Arthritis,
- Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS)
- Moderately to Severely Active Polyarticular Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA)
