FASLODEX (Fulvestrant)-250mg

FASLODEX (Fulvestrant) is hormone therapy fights cancer as an “estrogen receptor down regulator.” It binds to the estrogen receptor site in competition with estrogen in the body.  Once it binds to the site it causes the receptors to break down, thereby preventing normal cellular response to estrogen.

It is used to treat advanced breast cancer or breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body (metastatic) in postmenopausal women, with disease progression following antiestrogen therapy.
