JANUMET (Sitagliptin Phosphate & Metformin Hydrochloride)

JANUMET contains two oral antidiabetic medications used in the management of type 2 diabetes Sitagliptin and Metformin HCl 

Sitagliptin belongs to a class of medicines called DPP-4 inhibitors and metformin belongs to biguanides. Together they control blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, a condition in which the body does not make enough insulin, and the insulin that the body produces does not work as well as it should. The body can also make too much sugar. When this happens, sugar (glucose) builds up in the blood. This can lead to serious medical problems.

Available in Strengths of 500mg & 1000mg.
