PEG L- ASPATERO (PEG L-Asparaginase)-5ml

Pegaspargase (Asparaginase) belongs to a class of medications called “antineoplastic” or “cytotoxic”.  Asparaginase is an enzyme that interferes with natural processes necessary for cancer cell growth, thereby killing or stopping the growth of cancer cells.

Asparagine specific enzyme indicated as a component of a multi-agent chemotherapeutic regimen for treatment of patients with:

• acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL).
• Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
• Used in some patients who have had a hypersensitivity reaction to another form of asparaginase.
