Tysabri (Natalizumab) is a synthetic protein that belongs to the class of medications called selective adhesion molecule inhibitors. It binds to immune cells in the blood stream, preventing them from passing from the blood into the central nervous system where they can damage nerves.

It us used to treat relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS), to include clinically isolated syndrome, relapsing-remitting disease, and active secondary progressive disease.
