XELJANZ (Tofacitinib)-5mg
XELJANZ is a Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor. It helps to decrease pain/tenderness/swelling in the joints.
It is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with moderately to severely active rheumatoid arthritis, with active psoriatic arthritis, severely active ulcerative colitis (UC). Tofacitinib is also used to treat a certain bowel disease (ulcerative colitis). It helps to reduce symptoms of ulcerative colitis such as diarrhea, rectal bleeding, and stomach pain.
